About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Bromford, a leading housing association that provides quality, affordable homes to individuals and families. As an Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our homes by carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • 18th edition or time-served electrician qualification.
  • C&G Electrical Test and Inspection certificate.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • AM2 preferred, though not essential.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant building, housing, customer services, health and safety, regulatory, and technical legislation and best practice.
  • Use of IT systems/software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A full, clean driving license.
