Bench Carpenter

This is a full-time on-site role for a skilled Bench Joiner at our workshop in Banbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.

At Christopher Bell Ltd, we produce the highest quality bespoke joinery, cabinetry, and furniture. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team.

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to complete tasks efficiently.
• Work effectively in a team environment to achieve high-quality results.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements and best practices.
• Read and interpret technical workshop drawings to complete tasks accurately.
• Produce furniture to the highest standards, demonstrating precision and attention to detail.

• Joinery or cabinet making experience.
• Experience using typical woodworking machines in a safe manner.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in carpentry or joinery if applicable.

Semi-Flexible working hours between 07:00 - 17:00, 40 hour working week Mon-Fri, with OT available. 20 days holiday + bank holidays. Competitive hourly rate from £12.50 to £25.00 depending on experience and work produced.
