Service Advisor - Business Development

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Service Advisor to support the growth of our client, a family-run agriculture and groundcare business with over 50 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support workflow and engineers on-site and off-site to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and manage diaries, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Create purchase orders and sales invoices, managing the workshop and driving retail sales.
  • Schedule training needs for the department, ensuring staff are equipped to meet business objectives.
  • Implement service initiatives to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure service standards and procedures are adhered to, maintaining high-quality service delivery.
  • Support customers throughout their end-to-end journey, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in an engineering-based company, ideally in agriculture, plant, or automotive.
  • Knowledge of Bobcat, Pilarus, or other agriculture brands is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Project and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans.
  • Complaint handling skills and ability to handle objections, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £26,000-£35,000.
  • Working hours: 8am-5pm.
