Job Summary

We are proud to be working alongside this brilliant aircraft manufacturing business and are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Fire Manager to work in this fast-paced, growing business.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to effectively manage the Health, Safety, Environment and Facilities (HSEF) team at our client's site and to comply with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site cleaning and third-party security services.
  • Implement and manage Legionella control measures.
  • Investigate serious injuries and establish preventative measures to minimize risk.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff and management on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Attend committee and site leadership meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR).
  • Develop and implement Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Deliver health, safety, and environmental training to staff and conduct new staff inductions.
  • Review and update the HSE manual and policies, as well as the business continuity plan, to ensure they remain effective and relevant.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety, Environmental and Fire Manager to join our team at Unicorn Resourcing Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with experience in managing a team and implementing safety protocols.
