Job Title: Account Manager

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in London. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a prestigious Total Facilities Management (TFM) account, providing leadership, management, and development of the contract to ensure financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  • Manage hard and soft services, including a team of engineers, postroom, workplace coordinators, and outsourced cleaning, security, and reception services.
  • Create and present reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual strategy meetings.
  • Accurately forecast P&L and deliver against or exceed plan.
  • Report monthly to the business on overall deliverables and performance of the contract.
  • Maintain a strong client relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure opportunities for strategic development of the contract are exploited to deliver increased turnover and profitability.
  • Implement business policies and processes within the contract.
  • Ensure healthy and safe working conditions and effective implementation of health and safety policies and processes.
  • Optimize staffing structures to balance cost reduction with service excellence.
  • Ensure contracts are staffed by fully competent teams with effective succession planning.
  • Collaborate with other operational managers to develop the business and support colleagues.
  • Develop contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, cost reduction, and contract growth.
  • Drive innovation through meeting with supply partners and proposing best-in-class technology.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and produce and submit variations when required.
  • Implement control systems to ensure statutory, policy, and contractual commitments are met.
  • Maintain a customer focus and effective relationships with key client contacts.
  • Promote and maintain the RISE Values of CBRE.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, advice, coaching, and direct support to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment, and recognition/reward.
  • Deliver effective business communication through advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and other publications.
  • Support the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings, hosting visits, and support to mobilization as required on new contracts.
  • Provide a learning environment and appropriate training and development planning to ensure employees are fully competent to undertake their roles and reach their full future potential.
Accountabilities:
  • Accountable to CBRE functional heads as appropriate.
  • Accountable day-to-day to relevant client contacts.
  • Line management responsibility for a large contract team and indirectly for relevant subcontractors.
  • Financial responsibility for the delivery of plan commitments for the contract.
