Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and respected automotive group, contributing to a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Performing routine services, Pre-Delivery Inspections, and MOT assessments.
  • Executing tasks as specified in the relevant service schedules.
  • Ensuring all scheduled activities are completed and documented accurately, including time spent, parts utilized, and consumables.
  • Identifying and reporting any issues outside of scheduled tasks and obtaining approval for necessary repairs.
  • Diagnosing, documenting, and resolving vehicle faults and issues.
  • Utilizing departmental diagnostic tools and methods, and consulting franchise equipment and systems as needed.
  • Collaborating with Service Management or Franchise technical support for additional assistance when required.
  • Reporting on the causes and implications of issues, estimating repair costs, and securing authorization to proceed with necessary work.
Working Hours

This position requires a commitment of 41 hours per week, with one in four Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
