Key Responsibilities- Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure budgets, deadlines, and expectations are met.
- Preparation of draft tax computations and financial statements.
- Use cloud-based programs including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office to manage client workflows and financial data.
- Involvement in ad-hoc work projects to further support Senior Managers and Directors.
- Oversee client workflow, championing service excellence at every step.
- Support junior staff by reviewing work and aiding their professional development.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, dealing with queries quickly and effectively.
- Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations.
- Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities where possible.
- ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified, or studying.
- Qualified by experience would also be considered.
- A proven track record of managing a client portfolio within practice.
- Strong working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- A team player who can also work autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A hands-on, can-do attitude towards problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Keen to progress within the firm by learning from the team.
- A competitive salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum.
