LCV Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LCV Technician to join our team in Poole, Dorset. As an LCV Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using technical expertise and diagnostic equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential problems.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues clearly and concisely to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Previous experience working on LCVs up to 7.5 tonnes.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
Benefits:
  • Salary up to £39,000 + OTE.
  • 4 day working week is an option with occasional Saturday mornings on a rota, paid at 1.5x hrly rate.
