Join our esteemed organization as a Mechanical Operations Supervisor on a permanent or contractual basis. This role is pivotal in overseeing the mechanical aspects of our projects, ensuring that all operations are executed with the utmost safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective supervision to subcontractors and supply chain partners, ensuring compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Oversee the timely installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Act as the representative for Enpure Limited during critical inspection and quality assurance phases.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and secure client acceptance of mechanical installations.
  • Maintain and manage the project snag list, ensuring all mechanical issues are addressed satisfactorily.
  • Facilitate mechanical acceptance demonstrations and prepare necessary documentation to meet contractual obligations.
  • Assist in the creation of 'As Built' drawings by marking up site mechanical and P&I diagrams.
  • Ensure the site is left clean and organized post-installation, with all surplus materials removed by subcontractors.
  • Proactively troubleshoot any malfunctioning equipment and implement corrective measures as required.
  • Collaborate with client representatives to establish operational modes and assist in drafting method statements for site activities.
  • Engage with vendors and suppliers to guarantee proper installation prior to the commissioning of equipment.
  • Contribute to the Project Daily Diary alongside the Site Manager, documenting significant events.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to approved construction drawings and specifications.
  • Uphold all health and safety responsibilities as outlined in the company policy.

Qualifications:

  • A formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (minimum HNC/HND).
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS card holder.
  • IOSH Managing Safely in Construction or NEBOSH equivalent.
