Gardening Volunteer

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gardener Volunteer to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Gardener Volunteer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the outdoor spaces of our homes, ensuring that the people we support can enjoy a beautiful and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Create planters and maintain flower beds
- Provide general maintenance of our gardens, including watering, planting, weeding, and pruning
- Support the creation and improvement of sensory garden spaces
- Knowledgeable about plants and confident using gardening equipment
- Punctual and reliable, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
As a Gardener Volunteer with SeeAbility, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support. You will also gain valuable experience and skills in gardening and horticulture, as well as the chance to meet new people and be part of a dynamic team.
We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all our volunteers, and we require a DBS check and two satisfactory references before a volunteer role is confirmed. You will also be required to undertake safeguarding training and any training specific to the role.
