Job Description

As a key member of our cross-functional Platform team, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Managing the lifecycle of end-user devices, including procurement, provisioning, and retirement.
  • Administering and maintaining Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Managing Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint security.
  • Maintaining and configuring on-premises Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Maintaining both physical and virtual server environments (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V), including Windows Server and Linux distributions.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
Requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills for user support and collaboration.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies as needed.
  • 2+ years of experience of providing end-user support and troubleshooting.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience of administration of a Microsoft 365/Windows environment.
  • Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Active Directory and Azure AD administration.
  • Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security.
  • Management and support of a variety of end-user devices, including Windows and macOS.
  • Fundamental networking concepts, protocols, and devices.
  • PowerShell fundamentals.
  • Linux system fundamentals.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with hypervisors (e.g. VMware vSphere/ESXI, Hyper-V).
  • Working as part of an Agile team (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Using Jira for tracking work.
  • Using Jira Service Management for Helpdesk/ITSM.
  • Linux server administration.
  • Experience in an organisation implementing Cyber Essentials, SOC2 or ISO27001.
  • Azure and/or AWS administration.
  • Cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • PowerShell automation and scripting.
  • Bash/Shell automation and scripting.
