Overview:

A Top Tier regional modern Leading Law firm is looking for an experienced Regulatory/criminal Solicitor. They are considering applications from 2PQE -10 PQE. Main Responsibilities:
  • Work on behalf of businesses of all sizes other organisations in a wide range of regulatory and criminal law matters.
  • Acting on behalf of the Welsh government, Local Authorities and other regulators.
  • Working on Contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Advising on prosecutions and regulatory investigations.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Accident investigation.
  • Crisis management support.
  • Drafting written representation to regulatory bodies.


Experience Required:
  • Qualified Solicitor or equivalent.
  • Latest 2 years PQE in Regulatory/criminal law.
  • This role is well suited to a regulatory lawyer with experience across the areas of Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, Inquests and Product Liability/recall.
  • Experienced gained in Private Practice or In House welcome.
  • Ambitious and driven, looking to develop their practice.
  • Criminal & Court advocacy & case preparation.
  • Conducting prosecution.
  • Advice to tribunals.
  • Provide regulatory advice to companies and public authorities like health and safety.
