Position Summary: We are seeking an IT Systems & Software Support Specialist to contribute significantly to the enhancement, development, and maintenance of our software offerings and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, upgrading, and troubleshooting of hardware and software applications, focusing on our proprietary software solutions.
- Bridge the gap between software development and client support, ensuring seamless interaction with users of our software modules.
- Provide technical assistance and support for our software suite and Microsoft 365, including setup, migration, and ongoing support.
- Occasionally participate in maintenance activities at our data center.
Technical Skills Required:
- Experience in programming with Microsoft VBA, Visual Studio, SQL, XML, HTML, C#, Xamarin, and .NET MAUI.
- Familiarity with database management systems and data modeling.
- Understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and IT infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and risk mitigation strategies.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with web development frameworks such as ASP.NET.
- Proficiency in building Microsoft Power platforms, including Power BI and Power Apps.
- Experience in data migration from competing systems.
- Ability to conduct customer-facing training sessions and webinars.
- Relevant educational background in IT, Computer Science, or Software Development, or equivalent practical experience.
- Possession of a full clean UK driving license.
Work Environment: This position typically operates Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime. We are open to considering part-time job share arrangements for suitable candidates.
