About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to customers, empowering them to make informed decisions and take control of their lives.
  • Assess customer needs and develop tailored support plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Act as a first point of contact for customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy and dignity.
  • Liaise with external agencies to provide comprehensive support and promote customer confidence, health, and wellbeing.
  • Manage emergency situations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of customer interactions and progress.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.
