HGV Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on HGVs to ensure they are roadworthy and meet regulatory standards.
- Maintain and service HGVs to MOT standards, including routine maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and presented to a high standard before MOT inspection.
- Repair defects and perform general garage duties as required.
- Respond to breakdowns nationwide and provide emergency repairs when necessary.
Requirements
- Experience in maintenance and MOT on HGVs.
- Class 1 licence is desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
