We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our purchasing team as a Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing manager and providing administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our purchasing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and maintain the raising of purchase orders within our ERP system to ensure continuity of stock.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal stock levels and quality.
  • Monitor and report on stock levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to maximize stock turn and working capital.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a busy office or supply chain environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external customers.
  • Competent IT user, with experience in Excel and MRP systems.
