Job Title: Shift Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment on a large site in Salford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment
  • Conduct fault finding and rectification
  • Test and maintain fire alarm systems
  • Liaise with management on health and safety procedures and ongoing repairs
  • Assist with basic fabric duties on site
Requirements:
  • Minimum C&G level/NVQ 2 in mechanical engineering or plumbing
  • Experience in commercial building services
  • General maintenance experience
  • Time served in an apprenticeship is an advantage

This is a temporary position with an immediate start, and the successful candidate will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The hourly pay rate is £25.38p/h via umbrella.
