Investment Relations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join DWS as an Investor Relations/Client Relationship Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of fundraise efforts globally for our Alternative Credit Europe Strategies. You will be responsible for developing strong productive relationships with internal distribution partners, supporting the broader DWS generalist sales team with specialist sales support towards Alternative Credit strategies, and managing Investor Relations activities, including LP Advisory Committee meetings and LP engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the development of fund marketing plans for overall Alternative Credit, including market demand assessment activities, working closely with colleagues across Coverage, Investments and Product divisions around the world.
• Drive the analysis and related documentation associated to the sales strategy and capital raising across Alternative Credit strategies with respect to fund marketing, but also SMAs and co-investment syndication.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal distribution partners, including Product Specialists, Research and Investment Managers to convert sales opportunities into AUM flows.
• Manage Investor Relations activities, including LP Advisory Committee meetings and LP engagement, including Fund AGMs and annual Investor Conferences.
Requirements:
We are looking for a proven track record across an environment such as Investor Relations, Client Relationship Management and/or Investment Marketing, with a solid understanding of private market fundraising strategies. You should have a solid understanding of Alternative Credit strategies such as Leveraged Loans, Direct Lending, CLOs, Infrastructure Debt and Real Estate Debt. You should also have strong networking skills and a proactive approach to working with colleagues across the business, but equally adept at working autonomously. Additionally, you should have highly structured approach with project management skills and strong analytical skills using Excel, and the ability to connect and build strong relationships with others, highly developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
