POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The Senior Expert in Procurement and Supply Chain is a pivotal and influential position within the NTT DATA Digital Core Practice. The successful candidate will join a broader team responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions tailored to our clients' requirements. As a Senior Expert, you will facilitate customer engagements and oversee the delivery of Procurement and Supply Chain solutions, collaborating closely with Procurement and Supply Chain Solution Architects, Project Managers, and the Integration Team to provide innovative and high-quality solutions integrated into core S4/ECC and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Assist the Procurement and Supply Chain Solution Architect in closely collaborating with clients and NTT DATA sales and business development teams to translate business needs into solutions that leverage Procurement and Supply Chain capabilities, supporting the architectural framework within the overall solution landscape. This includes collaboratively drafting statements of work to assist in various stages of the sales and deal review processes. Lead and coordinate integrated workshops with detailed complexity involving Senior Stakeholders in the client organization.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to NTT DATA and its clients, focusing on Supply Chain strategy, particularly in the context of Procurement and Supply Chain solutions and the associated roadmap.
  • Serve as the design authority on projects, ensuring that the quality and integrity of the implemented Procurement and Supply Chain solutions align with industry best practices.
  • In accordance with the established NTT DATA strategy, engage in self-directed and collaborative learning to stay abreast of new technologies and developments, ensuring NTT DATA remains at the forefront of the market. Share and communicate expert knowledge to foster the development of others and enhance business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat and extended business concerning NTT DATA's end-to-end service offerings and provide comprehensive insights. Support NTT DATA's growth by being vigilant to customer opportunities that arise.
  • Possess strong delivery and configuration expertise across the various possibilities for Procurement and Supply Chain process flows.
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering ECC WM and Basic EWM solutions.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering client projects and providing Procurement and Supply Chain solutions to address complex requirements.

PERSONAL PROFILE – EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience in an SAP environment, with at least 6 years dedicated to Procurement and Supply Chain consulting. Experience with a value-added reseller or software house is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design and architecture, with a successful track record across all elements of more than 5 full project lifecycles.
  • Cross-functional knowledge is desirable, with an understanding of core processes in other logistics modules.
