Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Tipper Driver to join our client's team in Leeds. As a Class 1 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial truck to transport goods to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a commercial truck to transport goods to various locations
  • Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and updates
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Class 1 UK license for a minimum of 12 months
  • Must have tipper experience driving a Class 1 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months
  • Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offences
  • Must hold an in-date Digital Tachograph Card
  • Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card

Working Hours:

6:30 - 16:30, plus overtime when necessary

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday
