About the Role

The Cloud Solutions Architect is a key member of our team at KPMG, responsible for designing and delivering innovative cloud solutions for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and the ability to work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cloud adoption strategies for clients, leveraging Azure services and solutions.
  • Lead cloud engagements, working closely with clients and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Create high-level architectural designs for infrastructure and applications, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
  • Design and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to showcase our capabilities and meet client needs.
  • Act as the Technical Design Authority on projects, working closely with Technical Architects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide governance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Engage with KPMG stakeholders and clients to ensure our solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest Azure services and technologies.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure delivery, with a strong focus on Azure.
  • Proven experience in leading technical projects, including cloud adoption, landing zone design, and cloud migration.
  • Strong background in on-premises infrastructure, virtualization technologies, or applications.
  • Experience with Azure IaaS, Azure Backup & Recovery Services, Azure Governance, and Azure Security.
  • Experience with Azure Serverless and integration, Azure Containers, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Solution Architecture, and Microsoft 365 migrations and security.
