Role Overview: We are currently seeking a Safety Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic Safety Assurance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects and initiatives comply with all relevant safety legislation and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Safety Assurance activities related to products, systems, and projects.
- Assist in the preparation of Safety Reports and Safety Cases.
- Facilitate regular Safety Reviews to maintain compliance.
- Implement an Engineering Safety Management Lifecycle for product launches and complex project applications.
Qualifications:
- HND or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in safety engineering or assurance.
- In-depth understanding of engineering safety management protocols and documentation.
- Familiarity with safety regulations within the railway sector.
Skills Required:
- Competence in conducting risk assessments.
- Experience in safety or software auditing.
