Lead AI Editor (German), Conversational Shopping
About the Role

The Conversational Shopping team is seeking a highly skilled Lead AI Editor to drive the development of a seamless, fluent, and locally-relevant experience for AI-assisted shopping in German.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the high-performing team behind Amazon's Generative AI shopping initiatives and contribute to making it easy for customers worldwide to find and discover the best products, meet their unique needs, and more.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement style guidelines for Generative AI shopping experiences in German
  • Write, edit, and annotate short-form content to evaluate and train AI models
  • Collaborate with product, science, and engineering stakeholders to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to enhance the quality of evaluation and annotation tasks
  • Create and use frameworks for Prompt Generation and Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) to improve the fluency of AI models

Requirements
  • Strong experience in Editing, PR, Marketing, Communications, Copywriting, Journalism, UX/CX Product or Program management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or comparable fields
  • Bilingual fluency in English and German
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Highly effective at writing and assessing short-form content across diverse subject matters
