- Provide advice on HR matters, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes, equality issues, and anti-compete clauses.
- Manage employment litigation cases involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, and restrictive covenants.
- Advise on all aspects of TUPE, redundancy, and reorganisation, including consultation processes, risk assessment, and varying terms and conditions.
- Draft and advise on settlement agreements.
- Represent and liaise with both employers and employees.
- Actively participate in the growth and development of the Employment Team, including client base expansion and marketing efforts.
- Ensure compliance with the firm's client care policies and practices.
About You:
The ideal candidate is self-driven, results-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality work and achieving business profit. You should be comfortable dealing with Director-level clients, empathetic in communication, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. You should be committed to the Northamptonshire area and capable of commuting to the office reliably.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of both contentious and non-contentious employment law.

- Adept in using case management systems, Outlook, and Word.
Client & Business Development:
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to nurture existing relationships and develop new business.
- Willingness to participate in networking events and contribute to the firm's marketing activities.
