Job Opportunity

E3 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Chemical manufacturer in Falkirk, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a manufacturing plant and taking ownership of the maintenance strategy for a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the Preventive Maintenance Program (PPM) for a chemicals manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and manage costs, identify opportunities for improvement, and take necessary actions to meet budgetary targets.
  • Create and evaluate strategies in line with production, supply chain, and product objectives.
  • Leverage data analysis to identify areas for reliability improvement and implement programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a similar position with a strong understanding of engineering principles, familiarity with relevant legislation, and proficiency in current best practice tools and techniques, including CMMS (preferably SAP PM), along with experience in managing contractors.
