Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Hospital School in Harrow. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting young people with severe mental health needs and will be able to adapt to the changing needs of our students.

About the Role:
  • Support students with severe mental health needs in a Hospital School setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a comprehensive support package
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their well-being and self-esteem
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting young people with mental health difficulties
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, LSA or support worker in a school or alternative provision setting
  • Open-minded, positive and friendly approach
  • Caring and professional manner
  • Legal right to work in the UK
