About the Role

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our team as a Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the month-end close within the group finance team, supporting the audit process, and reviewing accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the month-end close within the group finance team
  • Support the audit process by providing supporting evidence and documenting accounting positions
  • Review accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the transactional accounting teams
  • Contribute to regional and group-wide projects, including continuous improvement and transformational activity
  • Maintain controls in the reporting process and suggest improvements
  • Respond to requests from across the business related to reporting and financial controls

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified accountant with good IFRS and local accounting knowledge, with solid month-end and balance sheet experience. Experience with Oracle ERP systems is beneficial. The role is based in a modern office with parking, and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office three days a week, working from home for the other two days.
