Business Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance & Business Assistant to join our team at CEA. As a key member of our operational services, you will provide administrative and financial support to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Financial Controller with sales and purchase ledger management, financial tasks, and other administrative duties.
- Maintain and manage the supplier register and due diligence processes.
- Responsibility for maintaining client and procurement portals.
- Process financial support tasks, including orders, procurement, sales and purchase ledger entries, and other processes.
- Assist with HR matters, including new starter arrangements and employee benefits administration.
- Ensure meeting minutes and actions are issued, maintained, and stored appropriately.
- Organize travel, meetings, conferences, and events, including research and coordination.
- Manage office operations and oversee administrative tasks.
- Contribute to the management and maintenance of our Integrated Management System (ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO45001), including updating systems, procedures, and records.
- Support the auditing process for our integrated management systems and other accreditations.
- Demonstrable IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks within a business environment.
- Experience with financial software and an understanding of sales and purchase ledger.
- Clear, concise communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
- Drive to learn independently.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management and maintenance.
