Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Playworker to become a valued member of our After School Club team at The Scott Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for children, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.

The role will involve working closely with our staff and volunteer team to develop and implement structured and unstructured activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our young participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development in children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the well-being and safety of children.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a similar setting.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to diverse needs and interests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
