Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Butler Rose. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day transactional accounting requirements of our clients, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial information
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc management accounts
  • Conduct daily liaisons with clients to ensure their financial needs are met
  • Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional customer service and support

Requirements

  • AAT qualified with at least 3 years' experience in bookkeeping within a practice
  • Strong exposure to bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts production
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in cloud accounting software, including XERO, Sage50, Quickbooks, and Hubdoc
