Job Summary:

The Gold Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct mechanical testing, fault finding, installation, and inspection to identify and resolve issues.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on motors, invertors, gearboxes, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental procedures, and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with new techniques, processes, and equipment through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified with a recognized apprenticeship or engineering qualification.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using computer-based maintenance systems and Microsoft software.
  • Demonstrable ability in mechanical testing, fault finding, installation, and inspection.
