We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Ready2Learn team. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing individualized support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members to implement lesson plans and provide academic support to students.
  • Assist students in a variety of learning activities, fostering their engagement and understanding.
  • Supervise and monitor the Ready2Learn room, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for all students.
  • Track student progress and achievements, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with secondary school students, demonstrating a genuine passion for supporting their learning journey.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Numeracy & Literacy or equivalent education/experience, showcasing your commitment to academic excellence.
  • Experience within a learning environment/school setting, highlighting your understanding of educational best practices.
  • Ability to effectively support vulnerable children, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity to their needs.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or training in working with children, further enhancing your expertise in this field.
  • Experience in supporting students to improve behavior and social skills, contributing to their overall development.
