We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Manager with a background in Logistics to join our client's team at VRP Solutions in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments.
- Audit and balance payroll accounts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to payroll and taxes.
- Provide company secretarial support, including maintaining company records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A proven track record of managing a highly effective payroll, with managerial experience essential.
- Previous experience in the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's specific challenges and requirements.
- Confidence to work directly with partners at all levels, including CEOs and Directors.
- A good standard of education, including GCSEs or A-Levels.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Adequate understanding of using new technology and digital solutions to support payroll and HR functions.
- A valid driving license, as travel may be required.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of up to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A full-time, permanent contract with a Monday to Friday working week.
