Senior Electrical Systems Engineer - Space and Satellite Technology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for aerospace applications, which includes component selection, schematic capture, analysis, documentation, stack-up definition, and layout management.
  • Creating and presenting design proposals that align with both internal and external specifications, while ensuring compliance with electrical requirements.
  • Detailing system architecture through the development of interface diagrams and documentation to enhance project lifecycle management.
  • Preparing and delivering electrical design documentation for review processes, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Leading the verification and testing phases of electronic systems, producing comprehensive and structured documentation.
  • Providing mentorship to junior team members and upholding high standards of reliability in electronic design.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in PCB design methodologies, particularly for high-speed circuits.
  • Ability to innovate and enhance electronic designs for both new and existing systems.
  • Experience in maintaining high reliability standards in electronic engineering.
  • Proficient in PCB CAD tools, with a preference for experience in CADENCE or ALTIUM.
  • Thorough understanding of electronic systems and electrical interfaces.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical information clearly.
  • Experience with aerospace electronics is advantageous.
