Electrical Design Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead our electrical engineering team and oversee the planning, design, and delivery of electrical projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical engineering activities comply with statutory regulations, university policies, and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage team workload, priorities, and resource allocation to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
- Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of electrical projects, including building infrastructure, HV and LV systems, and other related installations.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building services.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for all electrical engineering activities.
- Conduct thorough analysis and risk assessments for electrical systems, implementing solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Lead the development and implementation of maintenance programs for HV and LV systems to ensure long-term reliability and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including HV and LV infrastructure.
- Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
