**About the Role**
Portfolio Credit Control is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Credit Controller. As a key member of our Credit Control function, you will be responsible for managing an Accounts Receivable (AR) portfolio and ensuring the smooth transition of the order to cash cycle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, including ownership of several geographical ledgers and day-to-day credit control & collections functions.
- Communicate with customers to collect in due debt and discuss account status and actions.
- Liaise with Sales to release orders and resolve queries, and collaborate on a monthly AR review call to improve collections performance.
- Account reconciliation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including interaction with Cash Allocation and Finance teams to support audit requirements.
- Streamline processes and support change management opportunities for wider Credit Teams.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in credit control, finance methodology, and reconciling customer accounts.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
