We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Card Factory. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue in your store.
- Team Development: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages colleague development and growth.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, merchandising, and visual displays.
- Coaching and Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Recruitment: Recruit, select, and develop a high-performing team of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Assistants.
- Commercial Decision Making: Make informed commercial decisions around stock availability, merchandising, and visual displays to drive sales growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including District and Regional Managers, to ensure a clear understanding of the business and its objectives.
- Performance Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to store teams, District, and Regional Managers on store performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience as a Store Manager in a retail environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team of colleagues.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and ability to make informed decisions.
