Job Title: Asset Engineer

Strata Construction Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Asset Engineer to join our team. As an Asset Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and management of civil engineering and building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake supervised design input on a wide range of civil engineering and building projects
  • Prepare proposals for the maintenance and repair of drainage infrastructure, including surface water and wastewater systems
  • Develop cost estimates and project timescales for capital works
  • Manage contracts, including preparation and administration
  • Design and implement drainage systems using CAD software
  • Conduct site surveys and attend construction sites to ensure designs are implemented correctly
  • Perform hydraulic modeling of surface water drainage networks and online or offline storage solutions
  • Assess developable land for engineering feasibility
Requirements:
  • Relevant Civil Engineering Qualification, HNC/BTEC or above BSc/MEng
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience of AutoCAD 2D
  • Experience in site surveying and setting out
  • Experience in drainage and road design for commercial and residential developments
  • Proficiency in sector-related design software, such as WinDes, Tuflow, HEC-RAS, and FEH
  • Working knowledge of drainage design, including private and adoptable sewers, and Section 104, 106, and 185 agreements
  • Experience in highway design, including Section 38 and 278 agreements
  • Experience in private road and car park design
