Creative Teaching Assistant - Reception Class

EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team at a modern, vibrant Primary School in Ealing. The ideal candidate will be patient, bubbly, and charismatic, with a genuine interest in Early Childhood development.

This holistic, whole-child approach Primary School has a strong passion for creating the best possible learning environment for all. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will assist with the management of the class and ensure pupils are motivated and engaged during task time. Using play-based learning in the classroom will provide plenty of opportunity to bring your creative flair into the classroom.

This role is perfect for aspiring Primary School Teachers, Music and Art Therapists, Counsellors, and other career pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to pupils in EYFS
  • Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing Sessions
  • Supporting mild Special Educational Needs
  • Use your creativity and imagination to engage the children
  • High quality CPD provided

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
