People Solutions Group is seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Louth, Lincolnshire.

This role offers both day and night shifts, with the potential for weekend work and long-haul assignments. We are committed to providing ongoing work opportunities for the right candidate, which may even lead to a permanent position.

What You'll Do
  • Safely and efficiently operate Class 1 vehicles
  • Perform curtain-side operations, ensuring loads are securely strapped
  • Undertake trunk runs as required
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and driving regulations
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rates: £15 per hour for weekdays (days), £17 per hour for weekdays (nights), £17 per hour on Saturdays, and £19 per hour on Sundays. Overtime is paid at £26.55 per hour after 50 hours worked.
  • Additional payment of £25 per night out
  • Weekly pay schedule

Your Qualifications
  • Valid UK Category C+E driving licence
  • UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum of 24 months' experience driving Class 1 vehicles

  • Professional work ethic and excellent communication skills
