About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Naval Architect to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our project-based environment, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and specification of floating structures or for the transportation and installation of offshore structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of senior KBR staff to analyze, design, and specify floating structures or transportation and installation of offshore structures.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to evaluate, select, and apply modifications and adaptations.
  • Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments involving conventional types of plans, investigations, and analyses with relatively few complex features.
  • Impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations through correct job tasks.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Naval Architecture/Engineering.
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to extract relevant technical information, and strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, good report writing, and presentation skills.
  • MSc/MEng degree in Naval Architecture/Offshore Engineering or equivalent.
  • Right to work in the UK.
