We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join our team at Quest Technical Ltd, a leading provider of technical services to the manufacturing industry. Our client is a key player in the energy, defence, and industrial sectors, operating cutting-edge technology and manufacturing components for use in harsh environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and programs
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce high-quality components
- Write and modify CNC programs from scratch, with a strong focus on precision and accuracy
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing methods and reduce costs
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Miller Programmer
- Proven track record of setting up and operating milling machines
- Strong programming skills, with the ability to write programs from scratch
- Time-served in a manufacturing environment
- CNC training and certification
- Excellent process and product knowledge
- Health and safety compliance
- Ability to read technical drawings and develop improved manufacturing methods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
