We are seeking a visionary leader to drive transformational change in our organisation, Devon Air Ambulance. As our new Chief Executive, you will be responsible for leading our team through a period of significant change, leveraging your expertise in strategic planning, team leadership, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to enhance operational effectiveness and communication
- Lead the development of a culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and high-performing teams
- Drive income generation and financial sustainability through effective commercial and entrepreneurial acumen
- Oversee the implementation of a capital project to build a new combined HQ and airbase
- Engage with diverse stakeholders, including communities, volunteers, staff, and supporters, to promote our mission and values
About You:
We are looking for a leader with a proven track record in driving transformational change in complex organisations. You will possess excellent leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver clear long-term objectives. Your skills and capabilities will include:
- Proven experience in leading and driving transformational change as a CEO or Senior Director in a regulated environment
- Effective strategic thinking, planning, and the ability to deliver clear long-term objectives
- Proven experience in leading, driving, and sustaining a highly collaborative and unified culture enabling high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of how digital can play a part in enhancing operational effectiveness, efficiencies, and communication
- Financially literate with a proven ability in building financial sustainability and leading capital-building projects
- Experience of being an inspiring organisational ambassador with a proven ability to influence, engage, and enthuse a range of diverse audiences
