About the Role

**Security Site Support Officer Opportunity**

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer with a minimum of 2 years' experience and an SIA licence to join our team as a Security Site Support Officer. This role involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3pm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Security Officer to contribute their skills and experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Monitor and Control Access**: Ensure only authorized personnel, vehicles, and goods access the facility by monitoring and controlling entry/exit points.
  • **Operate Yard Management System**: Operate the yard management system and manage the weighbridge to accurately monitor vehicle movements and weights.
  • **Conduct Regular Patrols**: Conduct regular patrols to identify and address potential security risks, ensuring the safety of employees and assets.
  • **Respond to Security Incidents**: Respond effectively to security incidents, taking prompt action to resolve issues and reporting as necessary.
  • **Welcome and Process Visitors**: Welcome, verify, and process visitors and contractors, ensuring site security protocols are followed.
Essential Skills:
  • **Strong Teamwork Experience**: Strong teamwork experience is essential for this role.
  • **Excellent Communication Skills**: Excellent written and spoken English is required.
  • **Computer Literacy**: Computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly is necessary.
