Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough VAT analysis and ensure timely payments to HMRC
  • Reconcile VAT on our balance sheet to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with external parties and HMRC to resolve queries and discrepancies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation and communicate changes to the team
  • Ensure VAT codes are accurate and consistently applied across the organization
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement system updates

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience managing VAT in a previous role. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external tax bodies. Proficiency in SAP or similar systems and advanced Excel/Power BI skills are desirable but not essential.
