About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Apprenticeship Program Manager to join our team at Edwin James Group Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our nationwide apprenticeship program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and execute a comprehensive apprenticeship program that meets the needs of our trade skills apprentices.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to attract and select suitable candidates for the program.
  • Training and Development: Create and implement training plans, coordinate with trainers and mentors, and monitor the progress of each apprentice.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records and documentation related to apprenticeship programs.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of apprentices periodically and conduct evaluations to track their progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a point of contact for apprentices, mentors, trainers, and other stakeholders involved in the program.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven work experience in the Training/Staff Development arena, with a track record in designing and executing successful apprentice-based training programs.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of funding regimes and grants across all trade sectors/countries of the UK, experience of managing apprentice programs for trade skills, and familiarity with traditional and modern training methods.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
  • Education and Certifications: Up-to-date knowledge of the e-learning environment and associated systems.
