We are seeking a skilled Machine Minder to join our team at our Wednesbury site. As a Machine Minder, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain Mondini and Sealpac tools, including stripping and rebuilding as needed
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns
  • Communicate with the engineering team and management to report any issues or concerns
  • Work with contractors to perform tool servicing and repairs
  • Follow good engineering standards and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and compliant working environment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • Passion for rebuilding, inspecting, and correcting mechanical issues
  • Ability to work closely with other departments, including engineering and production
  • Ability to strip and rebuild mechanical items
  • Previous experience in a similar role is ideal
