Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering refrigerated goods to various locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a refrigerated vehicle to deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prep and maintain the vehicle for delivery, including completing vehicle checks and refueling as needed.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • UK driving license with a Cat C+E entitlement.
  • Digi and CPC card with no more than 6 points for minor offenses.

Working Conditions:

  • Shifts will be between 22:00 and 02:00, with a 30-minute break deducted per shift.
  • Pay rates will vary depending on the day and shift, with higher rates for night shifts.
