Key Responsibilities:

As a contractor in the utilities sector, we collaborate with esteemed clients, and this is a pivotal moment to join us as we embrace innovation and sustainable practices. This role is specifically associated with our South East Water partnership.

Your contribution is vital for our financial success, enabling us to invest in advanced technologies aimed at creating sustainable, carbon-positive infrastructure that is responsibly developed and maintained for future generations.

Some of the tasks you will engage in include:

  • Preparing weekly financial and expenditure reports
  • Overseeing the submission of daily completed tasks
  • Creating 'Schedule of Rates'
  • Reconciling subcontractor expenses and generating payment certificates
  • Collaborating with Operations and Planning to track project progress and scope modifications
  • Evaluating project works to ensure objectives are met
  • Estimating costs for high-volume projects
  • Building relationships with clients during 'Work In Progress' sessions
  • Analyzing financial data on a weekly and monthly basis

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are in search of a seasoned Cost Estimator who possesses enthusiasm, outstanding communication abilities, a proactive mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Excel is essential, including knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP, along with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
