Deloitte LLP is seeking a highly skilled Front-end Development Lead to join its talented Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge products that are used by tens of thousands of practitioners across the firm.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned front-end developer to take on a leadership role and drive the development of high-quality, responsive web applications. You will be responsible for leading a small team of developers, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop performant, high-quality, and responsive web applications.
  • Lead a small team of developers, focusing on supporting their personal growth and development.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing front-end development process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Front-end Developer, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering solutions with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Svelte, or Vue.
  • Experience of WebAPI.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and front-end build tools like Webpack or Gulp.
  • Experience leading a technical team would be desirable.
  • Experience working with an agile framework.
